Women's soccer team to host first-ever on-campus sporting event in school history

SAN ANTONIO – The Texas A&M University–San Antonio women's soccer team will host the first varsity sporting event in school history Wednesday, Aug. 25, when the Jaguars host Arlington Baptist. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the TAMUSA soccer fields, located just south of the university's Parking Lot 2.

Fans are encouraged to come out and cheer for the Jaguars in this history-making event. Food and drinks will be permitted, but no alcohol or tobacco products will be permitted. Pets are not allowed, though service animals will be permitted at the contest.

The men's soccer game against Arlington Baptist has been postponed. No makeup date has been determined yet.
