ALEXANDRIA, La. - The Jaguars of Texas A&M University-San Antonio dropped their Monday doubleheader at LSU-Alexandria.
The young Jaguars team fought hard in a 7-3 loss in game one before falling 8-0 in the second game.
In the opening game, Caty Rangel knocked two hits, while Messiah San Miguel and Vanessa Garces hit back-to-back RBIs in the top of the fifth inning.
Madeline Arellano knocked a base hit and scored a run in the game. Gabby Mitchell walked three times and also scored a run.
The Jaguars conclude their series at LSU-Alexandria on Tuesday.
